3 Day Maine Black Bear Hunt w/ Lodging and Meals
We take a limited number of hunters each year so we can provide personal attention for each hunter. Last season was almost 100% sightings. It isn’t unusual for hunters to harvest 300 pound plus bears with 19” plus skulls. Meals, lodging, transportation to and from your bait site, and basic field dressing is included. We have a local butcher who is able to process your trophy for your trip home, if desired.

North Road Outfitters offers a relaxed, family atmosphere in the beautiful Moosehead Lake Region, Rockwood, Maine, specializing in Maine Black Bear hunts over bait. Our bear baits cover 4 Townships. We use only active bait sites, typically with multiple bears, often trophy size. Comfortable stands or natural ground blinds are set up for each hunter’s needs.
First week of Bear season in Maine begins last week of August and goes 4 weeks.
